We’re very proud of our storage facility and treat each storage item as if it’s our own. Because of this, the vast majority of our storage clients are return customers. But don’t take our word for it, hear what our customers have to say by looking at our customer testimonials.
Indoor storage rates are one affordable price, paid in advance, for winter, summer, yearly or short-term. For our indoor winter storage clients, we have an annual reservation program, meaning no worries about finding a new storage location each year.

We prefer inside storage items to be dropped-off in the mornings.
Items such as cars and motorhomes are parked indoors before you leave.
Other items such as tent trailers, travel trailers and boats are carefully placed indoors after you leave using our tractor with a front mount trailer hitch.
We take pride in our business and treat each storage item as if it is ours!

Echo Farm Storage Inc. was started in the early 1970’s by Craig Stratton who was asked to store one of his friends tent trailers for the winter. The first storage building was built in 1972, and it has since become a successful family business with many changes over the past 45 plus years. Today, Craig’s son, Brian, manages the business with help from the rest of the Stratton family. Sadly, Craig passed away in late 2018 at the age of 86, after a hard-fought battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
The storage area is adjacent to the family homestead which was built in 1865, a few years after the land was settled by Craig’s great-grandparents in 1834. The 200-acre farm is still active today as a small cash crop operation managed by Brian and his wife Melanie.
You can access the storage facility to pick-up and return your storage item. This is mostly for summer and yearly storage customers who come and go during the camping season. In this case, storage customers are provided with an access mechanism.

The service you provided over the years has been beyond compare and more than reasonably priced. In 2005 we bought our first tent trailer and we were lucky enough to find Echo Farm Storage as a place to store our unit so we didn’t have to keep it in our driveway. Living in Barrhaven, the location is very convenient and I always leave knowing my trailer is safe and secure behind the locked gate and 24 hour video surveillance. The prices are also much more affordable than any of the local RV dealers who offer storage. Since then 2005, we have upgraded units 3 times and now own a 36 foot home away from home. Brian has always been able to move us around his facility to accommodate our increasing trailer size and he is always a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Echo Farm Storage for any of your seasonal or year round storage needs.

I used Echo Farm Storage for the past thirteen years to store my classic car year around. From the start they were super accommodating, and professional. I never had to worry about car as I knew it was safe, and well looked after. The only reason I have for leaving is I now have garage big enough to accommodate the car, otherwise I would continue to use Echo Farm as my storage place. Ten years ago, we parked our motorhome for the first time at Echo Farm Storage. We were assigned a site that gave us an easy in-and-out path as we remove it in November and return it in March. Brian has been very accommodating of our schedule and quickly responds to our questions and requests. The storage cost is very reasonable and the facility is easy to reach from south Kanata.
